[edit] About the Dargaard Series
Dargaard is a four part series created by Andrew 'MSVHazard' Martin using the RPGMaker VX program. The game's backround music mainly has music by the Austrian Neo-Classical Darkwave band Dargaard, which takes their name from a castle from the Dragonlance series of books. What makes this series slightly special is that the places in Episodes 1 and 2 are named after songs from the band Dargaard.

Princess Cynthia Alexander has disappeared from Castle Jaborah, it is also a fact that Captain Kenseth Jacob of the Jaborah Guard has disappeared as well. It is not known if Kenseth kidnapped her, or they were both kidnapped, and King Bartoloma has summoned for adventurers to cross the dreaded Seas of Oblivion to look for her. For three days, none have answered. On the fourth day, Kan Hassen answered the call, looking for gold, and nothing more. King Bartoloma promised Kan riches beyond his imagination, so he set forth. Soon into his journey across the Seas of Oblivion, a mighty storm enraged. It wrecked his boat, and he blacked out. When he awoken, he was on an island that was floating in the sky. He set forth again, to figure out where he was, how he got there, and how to leave.
[edit] Setting
The story is set on the island of Tushka Island beyond the Seas of Oblivion. The Seas of Oblivion are treacherous waters and any sailor who has tried to sail across them usually die in a heavy storm, so no one dare sail over it. The island has five places the character vists.
Fuer Grissa Est Dranka Fuer Grissa Est Dranka used to be an old military base that has now caved in due to constant attacks. There are many beds and toppled dressers, and the floors are also in bad condition as are the walls.
Caverna Obscura Caverna Obscura is just a simple cave, yet it is also a refuge for injured people when Fuer Grissa Est Dranka is full.
Temple of The Moon The ancient beings worshiped the Moon, a wonderful work of art by the Gods. It has some beds in it that were meant for the priests associated with that specific temple.
Temple of The Morning Star This temple is meant to be a monument to the Sun, yet the inner workings of it are confusing. Something went wrong with the development, and is now riddled with teleporters.
The Halls of Dargaard As of now, this is the only place that seems untouched. Everything looks brand new, and in good working order. There is a kitchen, bedroom, treasury, and a "living room."

Dargaard Episode 1 Mystery of Tushka Island was released on September 25, 2008, while patch 1.1 was released on September 30, 2008. Patch 1.2 was released on October 23, 2008, and is the preferred patch download due to it having 1.1's fixes as well.

Cynthia Alexander and Kenseth Jacob are two humans on the Dargaard world of Ruaam, seeking for a power to halt the ressurection of Loren Soth, an evil Lich. Meanwhile, the Dargaard ask Kan for help as the prophecy portrays three heroes to conquer the evil of Soth, yet Kan disbelieves them, saying it is illogical, and what is happening is naught but an illusion. Cynthia and Kenseth venture to three destinations on the small world of Ruaam, in search of three items to get them past multiple tests in The Halls of The Blind, and approval from the Dargaard.

The story now is set in the Dargaard world of Ruaam, where you take control of Cynthia Alexander and Kenseth Jacob. Bits and pieces are also set on a platform above the world of Kalen, where Jaborah is located. The main places that the player vists are:
Niobe The mansion of Niobe used to belong to the Dargaard of Light, Niobe, but he passed after having a multitude of wounds from when the Ekru demons attacked Tushka Island, where the Dargaard used to be. The Dargaard of Earth, Ehatua now resides there. The mansion was modified slightly to give the adventurers a riddle puzzle.
Ave Atque Vale Ave Atque Vale is the ice cave where Shain, the Dargaard of Ice dwells. She has modified the cave to feature a simple memory puzzle, testing the rememberance of the adventurers.
Nomine Aeternitatis. Nomine Aeternitatis is the fire cave where Ekeh, Dargaard of Fire dwells. She has modified the cave to feature a simple speed puzzle, testing the movement of the adventurers.
The Halls of The Blind The Halls of The Blind is the ultimate test the Dargaard have created. It is the final place the player goes to, and it recreates the tests found in the previous locales, yet edited and with a simple twist.
